Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide. The problem is especially relevant for our country, as the data show, that in Bulgaria to everyone 3 man 2 die of cardiovascular disease (myocardial infarction, stroke, heart failure). Leading is the importance of atherosclerosis as the main reason for their occurrence, development and complications.
